Hey ! The last stable version of OpenCity is out there. It's available in source code tar ball and in binary package format for Mandriva, Suse and Slackware GNU/Linux distribution. Microsoft Windows users still need to wait for few weeks. We're going hard to bring the last version to Microsoft Visual C++.

Hey wassup ^^ ? I, the main developer of this project, have just moved to a new flat. It's bigger, and I have much more free space but I don't have an ADSL connection yet :) Anyway, the development still goes on because we don't really need an Internet connection to work on the game. Have a look at the lastest screenshot, you'll love it.

Hi all, we continue to work on the next exciting simulation model. There are few issues that we need to fix as you can see in the new screenshot. Anyway, OpenCity is fun to work with.

OpenCity homesite now speaks Japanese thanks to the Google translation tool. We know that it's not accurate but we believe that it can help other users to understand what OpenCity is about. You'll need an advanced browser for multilingual support. Concerning the game itself, we are working on a better simulation model.
